Open Face Avocado Sandwiches

Open Face Avocado Sandwiches


  • 1 package shredded frozen hash browns
  • 1 large avocado, peeled and sliced
  • Shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 large tomato


  • Fry hash browns in hot oil until browned. 
  • Season with salt and pepper. 
  • Remove from skillet and place on broiler pan. 
  • Make layers of tomato and avocado strips on each potato patty. 
  • Top with cheese then place under broiler for 3-4 minutes or until cheese melts. 
  • Cut each in half.

Serves 4
